CREATIVE JOURNEY

Unveiling My Inspiration

I enjoy traveling and taking small adventures with my family. These excursions into the unknown give me a sense of freedom. That gives me the inspiration for my artwork, my landscapes especially. For my portraits I portray strong people overcoming adversity, freeing themselves from the trials they are under.

Artist Bio

Trevor Prigge was born and raised in a small farm town in southeastern Minnesota. After high school he went to school in Florida and then joined the Army for 8 years where he lived in North Carolina and Texas. After the Army he started working for a large railroad which has influenced many of his paintings. He moved 3 times while working there, Montana and North Dakota, eventually landing back in Minnesota.

Trevor is a true renaissance man. After earning an engineering degree, becoming an Infantryman and railroader, and two Master's degrees, he decided it was time to expand his artistic qualities and attend Milan Art Institute. He has explored the world either through work or travel with family. He has deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan and has seen most of North America. He displays this in many of his landscapes. Drawing the viewer into a place that sets them free. His portraits display a sense of victory over adversity or someone about to bravely face a new challenge. They give off a sense of hope that anyone can overcome any hardship.

Trevor's current studio is at his home in Minnesota located near Minneapolis. It's an ideal location to view the natural beauty of Minnesota and has easy access to a large international airport. He plans to continue exploring the world and creating artwork of his travels.
